The Village Group announces call for artists, makers and creators for the Abie & Dorothea Ladson Cultural Festival

The Village Group is officially seeking vendors, artisans, and local creators to showcase their talents and products at the upcoming Abie & Dorethia Ladson Cultural Festival. The celebrated community event will take place at Plantersville Elementary School, located at 1668 Exodus Drive, Georgetown, SC.

The festival is designed to bring families and the community together to celebrate local culture, heritage, and craftsmanship. It features a vibrant lineup of live music, Gullah Geechee performances, youth activities, cultural demonstrations, and community wellness resources.

Organizers are looking for a diverse array of vendors to fill the festival’s Vendor Village, specifically those offering:

• Handmade and homemade products
• Arts and crafts
• Artisan goods
• Woodwork
• Bath and body essentials
• Other unique creations that celebrate local culture 

By participating, vendors will have the unique opportunity to connect with hundreds of attendees while helping to preserve the rich traditions, heritage, and culture that make the Plantersville community so special.

The Abie & Dorethia Ladson Cultural Festival is free and open to the public, welcoming all residents and visitors to join in the festivities.
