The Woodlands at Furman gets in the Halloween spirit

October 15, 2013

GREENVILLE, SC – October 15, 2013 – The Woodlands at Furman has started a new Halloween tradition that is a twist on the Elf on the Shelf books.

The Woodlands at Furman team has introduced Mr. Scale. E Ton, a life-size skeleton who is making daily appearances around this continuing care retirement community in Greenville County.

It’s part of something called There’s a Skeleton in the Room, said Andrea Payment, The Woodlands at Furman lifestyles director. The idea was to create a fun Halloween event for residents. So far the bony visitor has been spotted in exercises classes, on the patio, working the front desk and attending a Furman football game. Pictures can be found at www.completepr.net.

Every day this month he will do something different, she said. No contest, just the fun of Scale E. Ton visiting the building.
