The Woodlands at Furman hires executive director

GREENVILLE, SC – August 12, 2013 – The Woodlands at Furman has hired an experienced leader in the continuing care retirement community world as its new executive director.

Kevin Parker comes to The Woodlands at Furman  after serving the past nine years as the executive director of Freedom Village, in Bradenton, Fla.  Prior to that, he served as the executive director of Westminster Shores in St. Petersburg, Fla., the executive director of The Shores of Bradenton, in Bradenton, and the executive director of Marriott’s Forum at Deer Creek in Deerfield Beach, Florida.                                                                                                                           

A graduate of York University, he and his wife Jane have two adult daughters.
