Thornwell to Host Foster Parent Orientation in Clinton on March 19

Individuals and families interested in opening their homes to children in need will have an opportunity to learn more about becoming foster parents during an upcoming Foster Parent Orientation hosted by Thornwell.
The orientation will take place on Thursday, March 19 at 6:00 p.m. on the Thornwell campus, located at 302 South Broad Street in Clinton. The session will be held on the third floor of the Nelson Building.
The informational meeting is designed for anyone who has ever considered fostering and wants to better understand the process and the impact it can have on a child’s life.
During the orientation, Thornwell staff will walk participants through several important topics, including eligibility requirements, the foster parent licensing process, and the support services Thornwell provides to foster families. Attendees will also learn how they can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who need safe and supportive homes.
The session will also introduce participants to Binti, the online platform used to begin and manage the foster parent licensing application process. Those who are ready to take the next step can begin their application online here:
