Tickets Going Fast for “Shaggin’ on the Shores” Lake Life Summit in Cross Hill

April 19, 2026

Tickets are going fast for the annual “Shaggin’ on the Shores” Lake Life Summit, and organizers say April 22 is the absolute last day to purchase before they sell out.

Presented by Gunnells’ Marine Unlimited, the event is hosted by Connect Lake Greenwood and will be held at the Drummond Center at Lake Greenwood State Park in Cross Hill.

This year’s summit will feature a full Low Country Boil, local business exhibitors, a silent auction, and shag dancing on the boardwalk. Organizers say the crowd response to last year’s event led directly to adding the Low Country Boil to the menu.

Beyond the food and dancing, the event carries a clear community purpose. Proceeds benefit Connect Lake Greenwood and help fund the Lights on the Lake Labor Day fireworks show on Lake Greenwood — a tradition that draws crowds from across Laurens County and beyond.

Connect Lake Greenwood recognized the following local businesses as event sponsors (also exhibiting): B&E Landscape, Chaney Heat & Air, Lakelands Realty, Sadler-Hughes Apothecary, Walker Turf, LCWSC, Olde Eight Golf Course, Atlantic Bay Mortgage, Atkins Data & Communication, and Sandbar Scoops.

A wide range of additional local businesses and organizations will be exhibiting, including all event sponsors plus County Bank, Darrah Allstate, United Community Bank, Rush Heat & Air, Rush Exteriors, Greenwood Lake Management, Discover Greenwood, Laurens Chamber, Carolina Stitches, Sandbar Services, Camp Fellowship, Preserving Lake Greenwood, Fish Bonz, Bourbon & Bubbles, Brewdly Awakened Coffee, Moody Blue Designs, Town & Country, Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont, and Michelle’s Boutique.

Tickets are $50 per person or $90 per couple. Organizers are encouraging attendees not to wait, as tickets will not be available at the door once the deadline passes.
