Tickets going fast for the April 2 Carolina Cup Steeplechase Race

CAMDEN, SC –Tickets are selling at a brisk pace for this spring’s Carolina Cup race, according to Nick Ellis, Chief Executive Officer of the Carolina Cup Racing Association. In fact, several areas for the April 2 event have already sold out.

“Slots in College Park rows A and B have already sold out, as well as reservations for the Carolina Cup’s new Turf Club, “said Ellis. “We’re well ahead of ticket sales over last year, and I encourage anyone who plans to attend this fun-filled day to purchase their tickets as soon as possible.”

Tickets may be purchased online at www.carolina-cup.org. General admission tickets are $45, with children under 11 free of charge if accompanied by an adult ticket holder. General admission parking is $10, and parking passes may be purchased online or on race day at the gate.

Admission to the Post and Paddock tent is $50 per person, and includes a full luncheon with choice of salads, pasta, roast beef, rolls, fruit, cheese and desserts. There will also be a cash bar and light snacks inside the Post and Paddock tent. Tickets for the Post and Paddock are only available by calling the Carolina Cup office at 803-432-6513 or (800) 780-8117, to make reservations.

A limited number of grandstand box tickets are still available. The cost is $100 for an individual seat or $500 for an entire box, which includes six seats, premier seating at the finish line, and one box holder parking credential. Individual box seats include one box holder parking credential, which allows patrons to view the races from the best seats at the race course. Additional parking tags are available for $25 each. All race fans 12 years of age and older will require credentials to enter the grandstand.
