March 14, 2017

Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHTR) announced the launch of Spectrum in the Columbia area. Spectrum is America’s fastest growing TV, internet and voice provider. Spectrum delivers superior products with the most HD, tens of thousands of On Demand options, Internet speeds starting at 100 Mbps and a reliable, fully featured voice product, all offered at highly competitive prices and combined with outstanding service. Spectrum features straightforward, nationally uniform pricing with no contracts, no early termination fees, and is backed by a 30-day money back guarantee.

“At Charter, we are working hard to redefine what a cable company can be and we call it Spectrum,” said Tom Rutledge, Charter Chairman and CEO. “It starts by providing the best TV, internet and voice services possible at the greatest value to our customers, combined with a service organization that is large enough, expertly trained and well-equipped to provide the highest level of craftsmanship and service.”

Spectrum Internet plans now start at 100 Mbps, with no data caps, usage-based pricing or additional modem fees, enabling customers to enjoy an unlimited broadband experience and the ability to simultaneously stream high-definition videos, download music and more without sacrificing internet performance. Paired with the most powerful in-home WiFi, there’s enough bandwidth for the whole family to stream video with ease across multiple devices throughout the home.

Spectrum TV features the most HD and thousands of On Demand options, bringing customers all the benefits of two-way interactivity to every TV in the home. In addition, Spectrum Mi Plan Latino offers 75 Spanish-language channels and more than 20 local broadcast and popular cable channels in English. All Spectrum TV subscribers also have access to our TV app, which provides access to live TV to portable devices in the home and select content on-the-go.

Spectrum Voice provides unlimited local and long-distance calling in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands, along with free 411 calls. The service includes voicemail and up to 18 popular calling features such as free voicemail, call waiting, call blocking and call forwarding. With Spectrum Voice there are no added taxes or additional fees.

Spectrum is investing in its network and innovation, transitioning remaining analog Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks cable systems to all-digital networks, enabling customers to take full advantage of an advanced, two-way, interactive fiber-rich network.

Spectrum is also investing in service. Spectrum is bringing back jobs from overseas call centers, insourcing its workforce, and adding more jobs to serve the customer better. Overall, Spectrum plans to add 20,000 jobs, the majority of whom will serve customers directly.
