Timely new local grocery delivery coming to Columbia

Starting May 18, Instacart, the rapidly growing online grocery delivery service, will be launching in Columbia through popular local stores, including Publix, Whole Foods Market, Costco and Petco. Instacart offers same day deliveries in as little as one-hour, or allows users to schedule a delivery time of their choice.
The delivery area will cover over 222K residents and will also be providing more than 100 new jobs. Areas of service include Columbia, Forest Acres, West Columbia, Lexington, Irmo, Chapin, Elgin and Blythewood.
