Tindall Corporation recognizes 60th anniversary with company-wide celebration

Tindall Corporation, a leading provider of precast, prestressed concrete solutions, recently celebrated its 60 years in business by hosting events at each of its locations. The company’s workforce of more than 1,500 individuals enjoyed fun activities, games, and food to commemorate Tindall’s growth and many accomplishments. Several gatherings included fundraising in support of nonprofits or philanthropies, with the teams raising a combined $2,500 for their respective causes. The celebrations were unique to each location, reflecting how each facility contributes to Tindall and the precast concrete industry in its own way, leading the entire team toward continued innovation.
“Taking the time to pause and celebrate as a company was important and fun! Coming together, we highlighted our successes and looked to the coming years,” said Cheryl Lang, President. “This was an important reminder of our history, chance to prepare for our future, and opportunity to remember and honor Mr. Lowndes and his legacy. Thinking about where we are headed is exciting to be a part of, and this has given us a good opportunity to reflect and thank everyone in the Tindall family for the hard work they do every day to make us what we are.”
William “Bill” Lowndes established Tindall in 1963, and over six decades, the company has gained a reputation for providing cutting-edge precast concrete infrastructure and building system solutions across North America. There are several highlights from Tindall’s 60-year journey that were key to its current success. Between 1986-2008, the company expanded to include facilities in four additional states beyond its founding location in South Carolina: Georgia, Virginia, Mississippi, and Texas. Another milestone was Tindall’s introduction of T-SLAB® in 2019, which paved the way for total precast designs, mid- to high-rise construction, and new customization opportunities.
