To accommodate growth, Lowcountry AIDS Services adds new staff members

In an effort to reach more people living with HIV in the Lowcountry and increase its prevention and education efforts, Lowcountry AIDS Services has hired several new staff members.
Jami Dybik is financial services/Insurance Assistance Program coordinator. Before joining LAS, she previously worked in medical practice management, business management and accounting.
Tamra Fye is the administrative coordinator, providing secretarial and clerical support to the executive director. She also assists with volunteer services programs. Before joining LAS, Fye served eight years with the U.S. Army, completing one tour in Iraq.
Donna Marshall is peer adherence educator. She facilitates a program called Willow (Women in Life Learning from other Women) and assists with lunch & learns and support groups. She also provides education for newly diagnosed HIV-positive clients plus those clients who have fallen out of medical care.
Dalina Rainey is a medical case manager, collaborating with individuals to help them successfully manage their physical and mental health, finances and the other complex challenges of the health care system.
Alexa Reynolds is an outreach specialist, working to locate individuals living with HIV/AIDS who are not currently in medical treatment/taking medications and attempt to get them back into care and treatment adherent.
Jarmel Smith is program coordinator, co-facilitating an intervention program called 3MV (Many Men, Many Voices) for HIV-negative African-American men who sleep with men. He is also part of the LAS prevention team.
Jessica Stein is a specialized medical case manager. She works with the outreach team to locate clients who have fallen out of care and bring them back into the agency for supportive services.
Adam Weaver is prevention program manager. He oversees all the testing, prevention programs, and educational/community outreach events for LAS. He previously taught special education for three years at West Ashley High School.
