Todd & Moore donated more than $1,000 to Palmetto Health Foundation last week to help beat breast cancer in the Midlands. The amount was 5 percent of sales during Todd & Moore’s Sport Your Pink weekend to benefit the Foundation’s 26th annual Walk for Life and new Famously Hot Pink Half Marathon.

“We’re very grateful that again this year, we were able to raise money for breast cancer awareness through Sport Your Pink,” said Chuck Todd, owner of the Columbia landmark. “It’s wonderful to see our loyal customers and friends coming together in support of a great cause through Walk for Life and Famously Hot Pink Half Marathon.”

Once again, Todd & Moore sold their special line of Sport Your Pink apparel and accessories along with a full line of Under Armour’s Power in Pink Collection, all to benefit the cause.

“Todd and Moore is a wonderful partner that truly understands the importance of supporting our local community,” said Samuel Tenenbaum, president of Palmetto Health Foundation. “Their donation to Palmetto Health Foundation is an investment in Palmetto Health Breast Center, and we appreciate their continued commitment to having the very best health care options right here at home.”

Walk for Life and Famously Hot Pink Half Marathon proceeds will stay in our community to help purchase a 3D mammography unit at Palmetto Health Breast Center at Baptist. The new 3D unit will be used for screening and diagnostic mammograms and will improve the early detection of breast cancer.
