Todd Schlesinger, MD elected Chairman, SC Medical Association Board

CHARLESTON, SC – Todd Schlesinger, MD, FAAD has been elected Chairman of the South Carolina Medical Association Board of Trustees. Founder and Medical Director of the Dermatology & Laser Center of Charleston and the Clinical Research Center of the Carolinas, he has been in private practice since 1998 and was also recently chosen as President-Elect of the Charleston County Medical Society.

Dr. Schlesinger graduated magna cum laude and received his medical doctorate from the State University of New York-Buffalo and completed residency in dermatology at the renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of
the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Considered a pioneer and leading authority on laser and light-based skin therapies, Schlesinger’s research center conducts clinical trials of new therapies and devices for dermatological and other medical indications.
