Todd Serbin joins Nexsen Pruet’s Intellectual Property Group

Todd Serbin has joined Nexsen Pruet as Special Counsel.  He will practice in the firm’s Intellectual Property group and focus on matters related to patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and entertainment law.

“Having practiced overseas for a number of years, Todd brings a wealth of international IP experience to the firm,” said John Sowards, Nexsen Pruet Board Chairman. “When looking ahead at our IP practice, Serbin will play a vital role in offering next level capabilities and service to our clients.”

Serbin has nearly two decades of experience counseling clients ranging in size from individuals to Fortune 500 companies, in a vast array of technologies including mechanical, biomedical and defense. Serbin has prepared substantive international patent related filings for the EPO (Europe), the JPO (Japan), CIPO (Canada), and SIPO (China), among others.

He was previously with Philadelphia-based Nachmias Morris & Alt, P.C., Ehrlich & Fenster, Ltd. in Tel Aviv, Israel and Lott & Friedland, P.A. in Miami, all boutique firms.

Serbin earned his B.S.E in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and his law degree from Villanova University School of Law.
