Top Speakers to Inspire at Next Week’s 46th Annual Clinton Family YMCA Youth-Community Prayer Breakfast
February 25, 2025The Clinton Family YMCA is set to host the 46th Annual Youth/Community Prayer Breakfast from March 4-6, 2025, at Broad Street United Methodist Church. The event, which has long been an inspiration to students and adults alike, carries the theme “Building a Stronger Community Through Prayer.”
Each morning at 7:00 a.m., attendees will hear from a distinguished speaker, sharing messages of faith, perseverance, and leadership.
“This event continues to be a cornerstone for our community, bringing people together in faith and encouragement,” said Harold Nichols, CEO and Executive Director of the Clinton Family YMCA. “We are excited to welcome three outstanding speakers who will challenge and inspire attendees with their journeys of leadership and service.”
Speaker Lineup
March 4 – Corey Fountain, Head Coach of the 2024 State Champion Clinton High School Red Devil Football Team
Coach Corey Fountain has led the Clinton High School football program for six seasons, securing a 2024 State Championship along with three region championships. His leadership has helped shape young athletes into not only competitive players but also strong individuals. Fountain, who previously coached at Lamar High School, holds multiple coaching accolades, including South Carolina Coach of the Year.
A graduate of Lamar High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from North Greenville University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Grand Canyon University. He and his wife, Lauren, have three children: Lilliana, Savanna, and Brady.
March 5 – Chandler Davis, Student Pastor at the Church at the Mill in Moore, SC
For the past eight years, Chandler Davis has served as the Student Pastor at the Church at the Mill, helping to mentor and lead students in faith. His passion is to see young people embrace God’s best for their lives and become empowered to positively impact the world. Davis also partners with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) as a huddle leader and character coach for Byrnes High School Football.
Davis holds a bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry from North Greenville University and a Master of Divinity degree in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Jené, have two young daughters, Paisleigh Jo and Ella Mae.
March 6 – Justin Brown, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at Charleston Southern University
A leader in student affairs, Justin Brown serves as Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at Charleston Southern University. Brown, a former character coach/chaplain for Furman University football, has dedicated his career to mentoring students and developing leaders.
With over a decade of experience in higher education, Brown is recognized for his work in student growth, leadership development, and spiritual engagement. He introduced the “Go 1 More” concept, which encourages perseverance and resilience.
Brown holds a master’s degree in divinity and organizational leadership from Mercer University and a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and religion from Furman University. He and his wife, Kodee, reside in Greenville with their twin daughters, Mya and Mila.
A Community Tradition of Faith and Encouragement
For over four decades, the Clinton Family YMCA’s Youth/Community Prayer Breakfast has served as an opportunity for the community to come together in faith and fellowship. With a diverse lineup of speakers, this year’s event promises to continue its tradition of inspiring and uplifting attendees.
