Town of Irmo announces details of National Night Out 2026

The Irmo Police Department, the Town of Irmo, and the Irmo Police Department Community Foundation invite families and community members to join our police officers and Town officials for Irmo’s 2026 National Night Out(opens in new tab)!

The event will be held on Tuesday, October 6, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Moore Park, located at 7473 Church Street in Irmo. The free, family-friendly event will feature an evening of food, fun, music, games, prizes, inflatables and more.

National Night Out provides an opportunity for residents to connect with local law enforcement officers in a fun, welcoming setting while building stronger relationships between the police department and the community. Families are encouraged to attend, meet our Irmo Police officers and enjoy an evening of fun and festivities.

The event is free to the public. Attendees will enjoy a variety of activities and entertainment designed for families with children of all ages.

“We look forward to bringing the community together for National Night Out and giving our residents an opportunity to spend time with the officers who serve them,” said Irmo Police Chief Bobby Dale. “Building strong relationships with the community is an important part of what we do, and events like this allow us to connect with families in a fun and welcoming environment.”

National Night Out is part of a nationwide effort to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
