Town of Lexington goes “Live” with Adaptive Signalization System

Seven Additional Signals

The Town of Lexington has officially transitioned an additional SEVEN signals to our new Adaptive Signalization System through video detection. On Wednesday, November 16, 2016, these signals will go “live” and convert over to “real time” control in place of “analog rotation” control.

The affected signals include:

US 378 (Sunset Blvd.) at the following intersections:

–          Corley Mill Rd

–          Cromer Rd

–          I-20 Westbound Ramp

–          I-20 Eastbound Ramp

–          Leaphart Rd

–          Lott Ct

–          Northside Blvd

 

The Town also has five “live” signals throughout the downtown corridor. The entire system (35 signals) is expected to be functioning by the end of 2017.
