Town Theatre performs to support community partners

December 2, 2015

Come to Town Theatre Dec. 11 to 13 for the youth theatre production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever while supporting some great community partners. In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids — probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem — and the fun — when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on! See Town’s youth theatre production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever as Act I and then stay to see one of our community partners as Act II – all for $10!

On Friday, Dec. 11 at 7:00 PM, the South Carolina Bar Foundation is bringing the BIG GUY himself by for a visit. Come get your picture taken with Santa after the show. No mall lines and a show to boot! The Foundation will use proceeds to support its Children’s Fund.

On Saturday, Dec. 12 at 3:00 PM, Spring Valley Baptist Church will present One Bethlehem Night as Act II.

On Saturday, Dec. 12 at 7:00 PM, Town will showcase its new Town Teen Troupe — a musical theatre performance-based group. Performance proceeds will help support development activities for the Troupe.

On Sunday, Dec. 13 at 3:00 PM, the students of the South Carolina Music and Dance Academy will tap their way into your hearts. The Academy has chosen to share its proceeds with the SC Autism Academy.

As a portion of ticket proceeds benefit the partner group or a local cause selected by the partner, your ticket is not only providing a few hours of entertainment, it is also investing in the community! Purchase tickets online at www.towntheatre.com, by calling 803-799-2510 (3 to 6 PM weekdays) or through one of the partnering groups.
