Traveling Country Club launches membership program

Traveling Country Club announced the launch of its membership program. Founded by three Greenville golfers, Traveling Country Club is a program that partners with golf courses throughout the region to offer members access to country clubs across the Carolinas for a small monthly fee. Members also receive perks such as discounts on equipment, apparel, food and lessons, as well as access to exclusive events such as tournaments and socials throughout the year.
Traveling Country Club was founded in 2018 by a trio of former professional, collegiate and competitive amateur golfers: Michael Maness, Eric Van Dyck and Ross Van Dyck. They noticed that almost 40 percent of golfers are 55 years of age and older, and they wanted to find a way to grow the game by engaging young golfers. As a result, Traveling Country Club was born. It has since expanded to include courses in Columbia, SC; Pawleys Island, SC; and Asheville, NC.
A membership to Traveling Country Club includes benefits such as:

“We are excited to offer the best public courses at a low monthly rate to golfers who are looking for an alternative to the traditional, single country club membership,” said Maness. “Our members get to enjoy the ease of an affordable monthly payment and the excitement of unlimited golf on courses throughout the Carolinas.”
Partner courses can offer their unused tee times to Traveling Country Club members through the TCC Clubhouse app. Courses then receive pay-per-play bonuses each month in addition to increased sales of merchandise, equipment and food and beverage.
“Traveling Country Club is an opportunity to bring golfers and courses together in a new, exciting way,” said Van Dyck. “Our goal is first and foremost to promote the game of golf, and we feel that this is a way to grow the sport for our members and our partners.”
Membership costs $85 per month with a one-time initiation fee. Golfers who would like to sign up to become a member can visit travelingcountryclub.com.
