Truematter welcomes Squarespace expert and seasoned front-end developer

December 16, 2015

Truematter is excited to welcome Kris Black, interactive designer, front-end developer, and illustrator to their Columbia, South Carolina team.

In addition to his 15 plus years working with user-focused design and front-end development, Kris has authored two books about the popular and user-friendly content management system Squarespace: Squarespace For Dummies, and the follow-up edition, Squarespace 6 For Dummies. He also has extensive experience with responsive design and development, semantic code, and enterprise-level content management systems like Kentico and Sitefinity.

“Kris is an amazingly talented front-end designer and developer,” says Dean Schuster, founder, partner, and user experience lead at truematter. “Even better, he has an intuitive knack for making complex interfaces beautifully simple. We’re all about making complex things straightforward, engaging, and easy to use.”

Kris says he’s also excited to join truematter because he “wanted to work with a team focused on creating experiences that mattered for real people.”
