Turner Padget continues growth in Greenville with an addition to the Insurance Industry Team

October 28, 2021

Turner Padget announced the addition of Dallas C. Meacham, associate, to the Litigation practice group in Greenville. Meacham joins the Insurance Industry Team to assist in handling matters in state and federal venues, at both the trial and appellate levels. He will also work to provide an effective defense in complex insurance litigation, lobbying the legislature on behalf of insurers and efficiently handling routine insurance coverage disputes.

Prior to joining Turner Padget, Meacham served as an assistant solicitor for the 13th Circuit, prosecuting DUI’s and other misdemeanor offenses in magistrate courts across Greenville County. Before becoming a solicitor, he served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable J. Mark Hayes, II in Spartanburg County. Meacham relies on the skills he learned during his time as a prosecutor, as well as his observations from behind the bench during his time as a clerk, to successfully defend his clients.

Meacham earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While obtaining his undergraduate degree, Meacham served as president of the university’s Judicial Council, conducting appellate hearings for Title IX violations and other student related misconduct. During law school, he successfully competed as a member of the mock trial team, obtaining numerous awards for his trial advocacy skills.
