May 3, 2012

CHARLESTON, SC – May 3, 2012 – Turner Padget Graham & Laney, P.A. announced the launch of its Drug and Medical Device practice group. The formalization of this industry group builds on Turner Padget’s long-standing history of providing legal services to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

While the formalization of this industry group is a new concept for us, our service to these industries is deeply rooted in our history as a leading trial firm, said Richard S. Dukes, a Turner Padget shareholder and integral member of the Drug and Medical Device practice group. Collaborating as a group allows us the opportunity to serve clients in this sector efficiently and to share our strengths in both litigation and transactional services to clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Turner Padget’s Drug and Medical Device attorneys have significant experience representing clients with interests in the drug and medical device industries. The practice group will handle complex litigation claims, intellectual property matters, fraud investigations and regulatory actions. Attorneys within the group have experience defending various complex pharmaceutical and medical device product liability and related claims for clients, including multi-party and multi-jurisdictional cases. Group members’ trial skills and sophisticated knowledge of expert witnesses will provide clients with excellent trial support as well as strategic settlement guidance.
