Tushar Chikhlikar Selected to Serve on Workshop Theatre Board of Trustees

Columbia, SC – July 31, 2007 — Tushar Chikhlikar, an associate in Nexsen Pruet’s Columbia office, has been selected to serve on the board of trustees of the Workshop Theatre of South Carolina.

Workshop Theatre has been the creative domain for many of the area’s most talented actors, directors, and technicians for almost 40 years. It is funded in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission, which receives funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Cultural Council of Richland and Lexington Counties.

Chikhlikar practices with the Nexsen Pruet’s banking and finance group, concentrating on economic development.  Prior to joining the banking and finance group, Mr. Chikhlikar focused his practice on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on antitrust and unfair business practices.

He earned his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina and his law degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the North Carolina State Bar Association, the Richland County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

Additionally, Chikhlikar serves on the board of directors of Columbia Opportunity Resource, is a member of the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court, and is a member of the South Carolina Hospitality Association.
