Jaidyn White and Anna Nipert

Greenville Technical Charter High School (GTCHS) recognized the following students who have been selected for the 2021 SC Teaching Fellows Cohort: Anna Nipert at Anderson University and Jaidyn White at Charleston Southern University.

The Teaching Fellows program began in 1999 as a way to recruit talented high school seniors into the teaching profession. The selection process for Teaching Fellows is rigorous, with an emphasis on academic accomplishment and  leadership skills. This year the Center for Educator Recruitment, Retention, and Advancement (CERRA) awarded up to 200 students across the state as members of the 2021 cohort of Teaching Fellows.

The program identifies the best and brightest who want to teach and supports them with up to $24,000 in scholarships while they complete a degree leading to teacher certification in South Carolina.
