Two more RBC ambassadors commit to the RBC Heritage

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC – Two more members of Team RBC have committed to the 48th annual RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing.  Jason Day and Ernie Els will be competing in South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR event April 11-17 on Hilton Head Island.  They join Team RBC Ambassadors Graeme McDowell and Brandt Snedeker who previously committed.

Stewart Cink, Glen Day, Justin Leonard, Davis Love III, Carl Pettersson, Boo Weekley are also slated to compete over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links.

Day enjoyed a banner year in 2015 earning five PGA TOUR victories. His final two wins of the season came at the Barclays and at the PGA Championship.  The Team RBC Ambassador now has seven PGA TOUR wins and one International victory. He is currently ranked #2 in the World Golf Rankings. The Australian native is returning to the Harbour Town Golf Links for the first time since 2013.  He has carded one top ten finish in his four previous starts.

Els is one of the most successful golfers in the history of the game, having won 72 tournaments since turning professional in 1989, including the 2002 and 2012 British Open Championship and the 1994 and 1997 U.S. Open Championship.  He has captured two World Golf Championships and a record seven World Matchplay titles. The Team RBC Ambassador has competed at Harbour Town 16 times and has carded seven top ten finishes.
