Tyra McBride selected as the 2023 Capital Young Professional of the Year

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. announced that Tyra McBride was selected as the Columbia Metropolitan Magazine’s (CMM) 2023 Capital Young Professional of the Year.
The CMM Capital Young Professional Awards recognized ten finalists, from which Tyra was announced as the Capital Young Professional of the Year. According to CMM, young professionals, 35 and under, were considered based on success in their careers, philanthropic passion and service, and commitment to community leadership.
Tyra focuses her practice on commercial real estate and utility and commercial litigation. She is recognized as a 2023 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Commercial Litigation and Real Estate Law and was named to the 2020 National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 in South Carolina.
Active in the community, Tyra serves as a Board Member for Girls on the Run Columbia and is a recent graduate of the Leadership Columbia program. She is also a member of the SC Black Lawyers Association, SC Bar Young Lawyers Division and Junior League of Columbia.
