U.S. Census Bureau seeks to hire applicants

Every ten years, the U.S. Census Bureau is responsible for conducting the nationwide census. Individuals interested in applying can go on the 2020Census.gov/jobs website to apply immediately. These jobs have flexible hours and pay $14.50 to $15.50 an hour plus mileage. Positions for hire include Office Clerks, Enumerators (Census Takers), Field Supervisors and Office Supervisors.
U.S. Census Bureau will be having a job fair aboard the SC DEW Career Coach Parked in front of City Hall. They will be answering all questions and helping people apply online on the dates listed below from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Applicants will need to bring their smartphones and/or email account information including password in order to access the email that is sent during the application process. The SC DEW Career Coach will include computer and internet capabilities for up to 10 people at a time. Individuals will be guided through the application process, approximately 15 minutes and a background check will be conducted. No resumes necessary.
