U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary offers Boating Safety Certification Class in Pawleys Island

Flotilla 12-10 (Georgetown, SC) of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary will host an 8-hour Boating Safety Certification Class on Friday, August 28, and Saturday, August 29.

This two-part course includes instruction and the final examination required to earn a boating safety certificate. Attendance at both sessions is required for certification. The first class takes place on Friday from 5:30 – 9:30 pm, and the second session is on Saturday morning from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Both sessions will be held in the upstairs classroom at the Bunnelle Foundation Center offices, located 95 Centermarsh Lane, Pawleys Island, SC.

The cost to participate for an individual is $30 per person and includes course book, exam, and certificate. There is a family rate of $40 with members sharing one course book, but each participating family member will receive an exam and a certificate.
