United Community Bank promotes Chris Hayward to Commercial Relationship Manager

United Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Hayward to Commercial Relationship Manager. In this role, Hayward will be responsible for developing and building relationships with business owners across Greenville County, providing clients with products and services to grow and operate their businesses successfully.
“After years of outstanding performance, we are excited to see Chris move into the Commercial Relationship Manager role,” said Jana Scroggins, Senior Vice President, Greenville County Commercial Lending Division Manager. “His commitment to excellent customer service and the desire to serve the community makes Chris a perfect fit on our commercial lending team”.
Hayward joined United in 2019. In his previous role as portfolio specialist, he analyzed and underwrote business loans and assisted in portfolio management for the Greenville market.

Born and raised in Greer, S.C., Hayward lives in the Upstate with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time on the lake or biking the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Hayward is a graduate of North Greenville University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management.
