United Community Banks, Inc. completes customer conversion with Tidelands Bank

Following the merger with Tidelands Bancshares completed July 1, 2016, United Community Bank is pleased to announce that the conversion process for all Tidelands Bank customers is now complete.  All Tidelands Bank branches have been re-branded as a part of the United Community Bank family of banks, bringing United’s total footprint to 140 offices in four states.

Over the weekend of November 11-13, United Community Bank completed conversion for all bank systems and customer operations. United Community Bank signage was installed at all seven Tidelands Bank locations.
