United Way Hires New Director of Education Partnerships and Policy

COLUMBIA, SC – United Way of the Midlands is pleased to welcome Callison Rawl Richardson as the new Director of Education Partnerships and Policy.

As Director of Education Partnerships and Policy, Richardson will support United Way’s education initiatives and direct its policy work.

Richardson previously worked at the South Carolina Appleseed Legal Justice Center in fundraising, development and communications. Richardson has also volunteered for many years with different education initiatives, including with United Way.

“Callison brings great policy, community, fundraising and marketing experience to our work,” said Anita Floyd, Sr. VP of Community Impact and Strategic Implementation. “Education is an essential cornerstone of United Way’s mission to improve life in the Midlands, and we are excited to have Callison on board.”
