United Way of the Midlands Hires New Assistant Vice President of Resource Development

COLUMBIA, SC – United Way of the Midlands welcomed Chris Burnette as the new Assistant Vice President for Resource Development.

As the Assistant VP for Resource Development, Burnette will work in concert with the Sr. VP of Resource Development to manage workplace, major and leadership giving campaigns.

Burnette has worked for a number of years as a campaign volunteer and professionally as a financial advisor with Creative Financial Strategies and Morgan Stanley. His career also includes several years as a sales trainer with Service Merchandise.

As a campaign volunteer for many years, he brings extensive experience with resource development and a working knowledge of many of our partner agencies,” said Mike Gray, Sr. VP of Resource Development at United Way of the Midlands. “United Way is committed to making lasting change in our community.
