Upstate Church and P+F Construction break ground on new Five Forks campus

Tenth Upstate Church location to open in Spring 2027
Upstate Church, in partnership with P+F Construction, has officially broken ground on its new Five Forks campus, marking an exciting milestone for the growing congregation and the surrounding community.
Located at the intersection of Batesville and Roper Mountain roads, the new campus will be a 28,000-square-foot facility situated on a 12.6-acre site featuring protected wetlands and thoughtfully designed to integrate with the property’s natural landscape. The project is being delivered with P+F Construction serving as Construction Manager At-Risk, alongside architect LS3P.
This location will allow the existing Five Forks congregation to relocate to a new, larger campus in the Upstate region. The Five Forks campus is one of 10 locations, reflecting the church’s continued growth and commitment to reaching more communities across the area.
The new facility will feature:
- A 550-seat Worship Center
- Dedicated worship and gathering spaces for students and children
- Meeting and breakout rooms
- Advanced AVL capabilities
- Steel-frame construction
- A future expansion pad for continued growth
“This new campus represents an exciting next step for our church as we continue to serve the Upstate and make room for one more,” said Wayne Bray, Lead Pastor of Upstate Church. “We want to create a space where people feel welcomed, can grow in their faith, and build authentic community. This property gives us a unique opportunity to fulfill this mission in a strategic location that will serve as a launching pad for future missional expansion.”
The Five Forks campus is expected to open in late spring 2027.
