Upstate Commercial Real Estate Women to Host a Regional Conference in Greenville, SC May 9-10

GREENVILLE, SC – April 25, 2013 – The Upstate South Carolina chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) is hosting the third annual regional conference for CREW chapters across North and South Carolina entitled the “Carolina Connection Conference.” The event is geared towards women and men professionals in the commercial real estate industry interested in making real business connections during a conference consisting of professional development, industry-knowledge and network-based programming. The conference will take place on May 9th and 10th at the Westin Poinsett in downtown Greenville.
“We’re thrilled to have lined up such as an impressive program for CREW Upstate’s first ever regional conference for real estate professionals across North and South Carolina. This is the first-time the conference will be held in South Carolina. We are extremely proud to showcase Greenville and the existing commercial real estate industry here in the Upstate,” says Wyche attorney and co-chair of the conference, Maurie Lawrence. “It’s great to see the support we’ve received from many local organizations, including ECS Carolinas, LLP, Greenville Health System and Engenius, as such organizations have helped bring this event to fruition.”
The keynote speakers for the conference include Deb Sofield, an award winning speaker and executive speech and presentations coach and Michael Riordan, CEO of Greenville Health System, who will be speaking on Conscientious Leadership. Additional programming will cover topics such as mentoring, apps & technology for the work, personalities in the workplace and substantive overviews of Project One, The Iron Yard and Greenville’s efforts at increased walkability in the City. Conference attendees will also have an opportunity for a walking-tour of downtown Greenville and a tour of Clemson University’s Center for Automotive Research.
