Upstate International Executive Director Traci Frese to step down after a decade of service

After ten years of dedicated leadership, the Executive Director of Upstate International has announced plans to step down from the role. The transition marks the close of a decade defined by cultural celebration, community connection, and a commitment to global engagement in the Upstate region.

During this time, the organization has grown into a dynamic hub where international and local residents come together to learn from each other, celebrate diversity, and foster meaningful relationships. Under her guidance, Upstate International has become a beacon for inclusivity and cross-cultural exchange in Greenville and beyond.

Reflecting on her tenure, the outgoing director expressed deep gratitude for the friendships formed, the mission-driven work accomplished, and the vibrant, diverse community she has had the honor to serve. Her legacy will continue to inspire efforts to make Greenville a more welcoming and globally connected place for all.
