The University of South Carolina Dance Marathon to Hold Campaign Reveal

The University of South Carolina Dance Marathon (USCDM) will host its 25th annual Campaign Reveal on Davis Field, located on Greene Street, Wednesday, September 21, 7:30 to 8:30 pm.

USCDM, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Dance Marathon program, is the largest student-run philanthropic organization on the university’s campus and has raised more than $6 million in 23 years. USCDM fundraises year round for Prisma Health Children’s Hospital-Midlands’ Child Life program, which provides resources for children and their families to cope with life in the hospital. USCDM’s goal is to fully fund the Child Life program for the next year.

Campaign Reveal is one of UofSC Dance Marathon’s events that reveals the overall theme of the fundraising year. The event will consist of tabling from 11 am to 2 pm on Greene Street with raffles, games and merchandise, a Pelicans Percent Day located on Rosewood Drive from 3 to 6 pm, and then the reveal later that evening.

“Campaign Reveal is always a special time for our organization to gather and launch the slogan that captures what the year is all about,” said USCDM Vice President of Communications Elizabeth Merritt. “ This year’s campaign allows us to celebrate everything USCDM has done in the past 25 years and will continue to do in the future, and I cannot wait for us to reveal it together and showcase what we are all about.”
