Move strengthens Verdae’s development team as the company advances long-term master plan priorities
Verdae Development, Inc. has promoted Zach Maghsoud from development analyst to development manager, reflecting his contributions to project analysis, coordination and execution across the Verdae master-planned community.
In his new role, Maghsoud will support key development activities including underwriting and financial analysis, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, permitting support, and coordination with design and construction teams. His expanded responsibilities come as Verdae continues advancing long-term projects across its master plan, including work tied to the Laurens Road corridor and Bolden Street District vision.

Maghsoud joined Verdae in 2024 and quickly became a valued contributor to the development team. His work has focused on the analytical and execution side of development, including financial modeling, market diligence, deal structure and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners. His approach to development combines analytical discipline with an interest in architecture and placemaking, reflecting a focus on how development decisions translate into lasting community value.
Prior to joining Verdae, Maghsoud served as an investment analyst and asset manager with RealtyLink in Greenville and as a commercial banking analyst with Wells Fargo in Charlotte. A native of Rock Hill, South Carolina, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in financial management and economics and a Master of Real Estate Development degree from Clemson University.
Maghsoud is a recent graduate of Leadership Greenville Class 52 through the Greenville Chamber and has volunteered for eight years as a Young Life leader mentoring high school students in Greenville County.
