Veterans Last Patrol Expands Outreach: Speaker Addresses American Legion Post 56

At the February 11th regular meeting of American Legion Copeland-Davidson Post 56, guest speaker Mike Ware shared insights about the Veterans Last Patrol program, which provides companionship and support to veterans in assisted living facilities, hospices, and through honor flight escorts. Ware highlighted the program’s ongoing expansion, noting its growth beyond its Spartanburg base to additional branches throughout the Upstate and nationwide.

Ware expressed appreciation to Post 56’s 1st Vice Commander Eric Valiante, a dedicated participant in Last Patrol activities, for the invitation to speak and encourage further veteran involvement. Legionnaire Kevin Myers, also actively engaged in the program, provided information and applications for the upcoming 4th Annual Dinner & Silent Auction, scheduled for April 15, 2025.
