Village at Sandhill is Finalist in International Design Awards

COLUMBIA, SC – November,  21, 2007 – Kahn Development Company’s, 1.3 million square foot Village at Sandhill in Columbia, South Carolina has been named one of nine finalists for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) 2007 International Design and Development Awards.  Other worldwide finalists for the International Design and Development Award include shopping centers from Turkey, Japan, Hong Kong, Mexico, as well as only four properties in the United States.

The ICSC International Design and Development Awards are presented annually to shopping centers from over 90 countries that exemplify the most innovative architecture, design, function, and business success.  The awards will be presented at the ICSC CenterBuild Conference, Dec. 5 in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Village at Sandhill was constructed by MB Kahn Construction Company, one of the nation’s top 200 construction firms.  It was designed by Beame Architectural Partnership of Coral Gables, Florida.
