Vince Pace Joins First Citizens’ Agricultural Banking Team

MARION, SC – First Citizens today announced that Vince Pace has joined the company’s Agricultural Lending Group as Relationship Manager for Marion, Horry, Georgetown, Williamsburg and Clarendon counties. In his role, Pace will be responsible for expanding relationships with agriculture-based businesses and developing customized lending solutions for agriculture customers’ equipment, crop production and land acquisition needs. Pace will be based at the company’s Kingstree and Marion branches, located at 200 West Main Street and 214 North Main Street respectively.

Pace brings to First Citizens more than 13 years of experience in the agricultural lending industry. Prior to joining the company, he served as a farm loan officer for USDA-Farm Service Agency.

“Vince understands the dynamics of today’s rapidly-growing agricultural industry, and he has the unique ability to quickly uncover agricultural customers’ needs,” said JB Schwiers, agricultural lending area executive for First Citizens. “I am confident that his natural ability to connect with customers, along with his extensive experience in the industry, position First Citizens to meet the banking and lending needs of our agricultural customers.”

A graduate of Clemson University in Clemson, S.C., Pace holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in agriculture and applied economics. He has also completed the Southeastern Agricultural Lenders School and Southeastern Beef Cattle Marketing School. Pace currently resides in Britton’s Neck, S.C.
