Virtual Greenville Venue Crawl experience to be hosted by Jamarcus Gaston and Myra Ruiz

February 22, 2021

As an innovative solution to COVID-19 concerns, the Greenville Venue Crawl will be offering a virtual experience option alongside their in-person event on Sunday, February 28th.

The new virtual option, held via live stream, will be hosted by two of the Upstate’s favorite personalities: Jamarcus Gaston of Your Carolina and Myra Ruiz of The Insurance Source and formerly of WYFF. Gaston and Ruiz will be on-site for livestream interviews with participating venues and vendors. The virtual crawl will be available on an exclusive webpage given to those with password access and virtual tickets.

The online experience follows the same schedule as the in-person event and videos from the livestream will be available after the event for virtual ticket holders.

Also new to this year’s crawl is the free event app, available for iPhone and Android via Apple Store or Google Play. The app will serve as a mobile guide where guests can view a directory of exhibitors, as well as an event schedule, event map, and FAQ as they complete their venue tour. The Greenville Venue Crawl app is also helpful for in-person attendees as it contains contact information for all vendors and venues participating in the crawl.

With sixteen of Greenville’s most sought after venues participating in the Greenville Venue Crawl, presented by Woodford Reserve, guests will have the opportunity to visit any participating venue and meet with dozens of exhibitors specializing in weddings, corporate events, and personal celebrations. Virtual guests can also partake in a live Q+A chat via the website.

Produced by High Spirits Events and sponsored by Liquid Catering, CHEF360 Catering, Tri-County Rentals, Southern Valet & Transportation, Friexenet Mionetto, KW Beverage, Visit Greenville and FamZing Studios, the event is designed to bring all facets of event planning into a single tour throughout Greenville.

The event is scheduled to take place from 12 p.m. to 6 pm, with the virtual event beginning at 1 p.m. With venue stop locations ranging from Greer and Taylors to Downtown Greenville to Easley, guests will see a mixture of modern, industrial, historic and rustic within the current lineup of barns, lofts, high-rise buildings and more.

“We are so excited for Jamarcus and Myra to host the crawl virtually,” said Tammy Johnson, CEO of High Spirits Events. “The virtual event will be saved and accessible year-round, so it’s a great way for folks to come back later and gain more information.”

COVID-19 safety precautions will be strictly followed:
● Masks will be required for all attendees and exhibitors unless actively eating or drinking.
● Event attendance as a whole will be limited to ensure social distancing.
● An event app will allow for guest information to be scanned rather than providing physical sign-up sheets at exhibitor tables.
● Due to the nature of the event, attendees will rarely create crowds with 16 venues participating.
● A virtual experience is provided for those who’d like to tour the venues from home.
