Waccamaw Neck Branch Library to host “Ukulele for Adult Beginners” class

Ever wanted to learn an instrument but didn’t know where to start? The Waccamaw Neck Branch Library is excited to announce a new musical opportunity designed just for adults this fall: Ukulele for Adult Beginners!
The weekly series will run on Wednesdays from September 23 through December 9, with each one-hour session taking place from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
No Experience? No Problem!
This program is crafted specifically for those with zero musical background. Over the course of the series, participants will learn:
- Basic ukulele chords
- Essential strumming techniques
- Fun, recognizable songs to share with friends and family
Whether you are looking to try a new hobby, stimulate your brain, or connect with fellow community members, this welcoming and supportive environment is the perfect place to start your musical journey.

Requirements: No prior experience is required, but each participant must bring their own ukulele to class.
