Wasabi goes pink by introducing new monthly sushi spotlight benefiting Susan G. Komen

October 2, 2017

This October, Wasabi is rolling with the cure to help support the fight against breast cancer. Throughout the month, Wasabi will spotlight “The Pink Dragon” sushi special which features tempura shrimp, arugula, snow crab, tobiko, cream cheese and avocado. The dish is wrapped with pink soy paper, garnished with rainbow bell peppers and sweet onions and finished with ginger vinegar and cilantro pesto. The special is available for $12 throughout the month of October.

In addition to “The Pink Dragon”, Wasabi is spotlighting the Hana-Awaka “Sparkling Flower” Sake for $15. A portion of the proceeds from every Sushi Spotlight and Sake Special sold in the month of October will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

“Our team is excited and honored to support the fight against breast cancer this month,” explains Johnny Chan, Owner and Chef of Wasabi. “We are also excited to introduce a specialty roll that our customers probably have never seen before, and I must say it’s delicious!”
