Webb named next principal of White Knoll High School starting July 2026
June 18, 2026The Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees approved the recommendation of Dr. KaRon L. Webb as the new principal of White Knoll High School at the board’s June 16 Board Meeting. Dr. Webb, who currently serves as principal of May River High School in Bluffton, South Carolina, will begin his new position in July 2026.
With more than 18 years of experience in secondary education, Dr. Webb is a student-centered educational leader with a proven record of improving student achievement, strengthening school culture and preparing students for college, careers, military and beyond. He has served 13 years in school administration, including seven years as a high school principal.
During his time as principal of May River High School, the school’s report card rating improved from Good to Excellent. Dr. Webb also led efforts to expand career and technical education pathways, implement advanced academic programs, support facility additions and build a collaborative, data-driven staff culture.
“Dr. Webb is an experienced and respected school leader who has demonstrated a strong commitment to student success, instructional excellence and continuous improvement,” said Dr. Keith Price, superintendent of Lexington County School District One. “His ability to build strong relationships, support teachers and expand opportunities for students makes him well prepared to lead White Knoll High School.”
Before joining May River High School, Dr. Webb served as principal of Ridge Spring-Monetta Middle/High School in Aiken County. He also served in administrative roles at Chester High School and Spring Valley High School.
Dr. Webb earned a Doctor of Education in educational administration and an education specialist degree in educational administration from South Carolina State University. He has been nominated for the 2026 SCASA Principal of the Year and the 2026 SCAAA Principal of the Year, and he has completed the SCASA Silver, Gold and Platinum Leadership Series.
