Wedgefield Plantation to host Paws and Putts golf tournament Sept. 27

Wedgefield Plantation is encouraging local golfers to come out on Sunday, September 27 and help support Saint Frances Animal Center(opens in new tab) with its Paws and Putts golf tournament. Check-in begins at 9:45 am with a 10:00 am shotgun start.
There will be four-person teams, Captain’s Choice format and contests for closest to the pin and longest drive. Individual registration is $100 (includes golf and food), $150 hole sponsor, and an Angel Team of four, with hole sponsor signage for $500.
In addition to 18 holes of fun, there will be vendors, a silent auction, activities for kids (face painting and balloons), live music and the Women of Wedgefield bake sale, with proceeds benefiting Saint Frances.
