Welcome to Moe’s! New Location Set to Spice Up Woodruff Road
April 1, 2026he familiar chorus of “Welcome to Moe’s!” is about to get a lot louder in Simpsonville. Moe’s Southwest Grill has officially confirmed it is expanding its footprint in the Golden Strip with a brand-new location at 2615 Woodruff Road, near the Five Forks area.
While an exact grand opening date has not yet been announced, the company has listed the site as coming soon, sparking excitement among local residents who currently frequent the Harrison Bridge Road location.
A Growing Appetite for Southwest Flavor
The Five Forks expansion follows a period of rapid residential and commercial growth along the Woodruff Road corridor. For Moe’s, the move is a strategic one, placing their signature burritos, tacos, and world-famous queso closer to the high-traffic neighborhoods of eastern Simpsonville and Mauldin.
The new restaurant is expected to feature the brand’s updated modern interior design, including digital kiosks for faster ordering and a dedicated area for mobile pickup to accommodate the increasing demand for off-premise dining.
What to Expect on Opening Day
If previous Moe’s grand openings in the Upstate are any indication, the Woodruff Road community can look forward to a high-energy celebration. Traditional opening day perks often include:
-
Free Burritos for a Year: A popular promotion where the first 50 to 75 fans in line receive a prize of one free burrito per week for 52 weeks.
-
$5 Burrito Deals: Discounted entrees for the general public throughout the first day of service.
-
Community Fundraisers: Moe’s frequently partners with local schools, such as Hillcrest High or Mauldin High, to donate a portion of opening day proceeds to athletic or arts programs.
Joining the Harrison Bridge Team
The new Woodruff Road site will join the existing Simpsonville location at 335 Harrison Bridge Road, which remains a popular hub for families, especially during the perennial “Moe Monday” promotions.
Between the two locations, Moe’s will now be able to serve the entirety of the Simpsonville and Five Forks area, reducing wait times and providing more convenient catering options for local businesses and school events.
Hiring and Economic Impact
The expansion is also expected to bring approximately 30 to 40 new jobs to the area, including management, shift lead, and “burrito roller” positions. Moe’s has already begun its preliminary recruitment process, looking for team members who can bring the brand’s signature irreverent and welcoming personality to the new storefront.
Residents are encouraged to keep an eye on the “Coming Soon” signage at the 2615 Woodruff Road site, as the iconic yellow logo is expected to be installed within the coming weeks.
