Wells Fargo Expands Business Banking Team in Charleston

CHARLESTON, SC – Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) announced today that Elizabeth Wooten Burwell has been named Business Banking Manager covering the Charleston metro market. Based in Charleston, she is responsible for identifying, acquiring and developing new business account relationships within the company’s Business Banking segment.

A 15-year financial industry veteran, Burwell joined Wachovia in 2003 as a licensed financial specialist in Charleston. Prior to her current role, she served as a Business Banking principal relationship manager responsible for managing a large portfolio of client relationships.

A native of Charleston, Burwell earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina. She is very active in her community and currently serves as the President-Elect of the Junior League of Charleston and as an elder in Rockville Presbyterian Church. Additionally, she is an active member of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Charleston.
