Welvista appoints William “Bo” McMillan as new Board Chairman

Welvista announces that William “Bo” McMillan has been appointed as Welvista’s new Chairman to lead its 15-person Board of Directors. McMillan succeeds Brian Blackwelder, who will continue to serve on the board after retiring as the acting Chairman for the past two years.

Bo McMillan is the President and CEO of Kar Kleen Wash Systems and brings a wealth of management and business development experience to the role. As Mayor of the City of Mullins for 8 years, McMillan excelled in community development and improved local business capacity through the expansion of the city’s public services and the renovation of its public spaces.

McMillian is a life-long resident of Mullins, SC. He attended Liberty University for Business and received a Real Estate Certification from Horry Georgetown Technical College. McMillan has chaired or served on multiple boards, including the Municipal Association of South Carolina, the South Carolina Association of Mayors, the Pee Dee Regional Airport Authority, American Red Cross Pee Dee Chapter, National Advisory Board – USC Department of Retailing, Welvista among others. He is the past president of the Marion-Mullins Rotary club and honorably served in the South Carolina National Guard.
