Wendy Furhang named Shareholder at Jackson Lewis P.C.

GREENVILLE, SC – Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s leading workplace law firms, announced that Wendy Furhang was recently elevated to Shareholder in the firm’s Greenville office. She is one of 21 total Jackson Lewis attorneys that were elevated to Shareholders. The recently elected Shareholders represent a broad range of workplace law experience and are located throughout Jackson Lewis’ 54 offices across the country.

Ms. Furhang’s practice focuses on employment litigation, which includes defending public and private employers in a variety of legal claims including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour claims, breach of contract, and employee classification issues. Ms. Furhang also counsels public and private employers on issues of hiring, promotion, discipline, termination, and overtime compensation. Ms. Furhang’s practice also includes the defense of ERISA plans and plan fiduciaries in employee benefit litigation matters.

Ms. Furhang received her J.D. in 2006 from Pace University School of Law, where she served as a senior member of the Pace Law Review. Ms. Furhang also attended the University Of South Carolina School Of Law as a visiting J.D. student. In 2000, Ms. Furhang received her B.A. in Political Science from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, where she graduated with honors.
