West Columbia’s Carraway Park to temporarily close to complete punch list items

West Columbia’s Carraway Park, 212 Hudson Street, West Columbia, SC, will temporarily close, beginning Monday, January 27, 2020, through Sunday, February 2, 2020, to complete contractor punch list items in the playground area. The interior of the park will be closed, as well as a portion of the parking lot closest to the pavilion for staging and truck parking. The area of the parking lot closest to the Riverwalk will remain open for Riverwalk users.
Carraway Park is a place enjoyed by many. The City recognizes that closing the park temporarily will be an inconvenience and worked with contractors to only have the park closed for the shortest amount of time possible with the least amount of impact on playtime.
