Whatta Wash Car Wash celebrates opening of new location in Spartanburg

SPARTANBURG, SC – The Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce held an official ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, August 15, to celebrate the grand opening of Whatta Wash Car Wash East.
Whatta Wash Car Wash East, located at 2171 East Main Street, Spartanburg, officially opened on Saturday, July 16. Whatta Wash Car Wash opened its first location at 2414 Reidville Road in August 2011.
“We began with a soft opening and provided over 1,000 free premium washes during a two-day period, so that we could let customers experience the concept. We feel that the express car wash model has been well received so far,” stated Diane Dew, owner of Whatta Wash Car Wash.
The new wash at Whatta Wash Car Wash East enlists the latest state-of-the-art technology in car care, which includes a water reclamation system that results in over 80% water recycling. Whatta Wash’s menu of services ranges from $7 to $20, with special offerings such as a Fast Pass membership program that allows customers to have unlimited washes for a low monthly fee. Additional services include vacuums, microfiber towels, high pressure air for cleaning vents and tough-to-reach areas in the vehicle, and window cleaner and mat cleaner all included with any wash.
